Library

Today I have been a good lad as I have spent more time than necessary in the library writing on an assignment. This morning I also went for the longest run so far this year, 8 1/2 mile. Which mean that my legs are a bit tired.

I think I should leave uni after I have uploaded this blog post. Since I came back to Newcastle my schedule has been very busy. I believe I will have no problem to adapt to life in my new (well, it's new for me) flat.

Teaching and leaving

Teaching is something I have always wanted to try. On the Wednesday before the Easter weekend I had one hour at the middle school here in Åsele [Aaw-seh-leh], my hometown. And today it was my first full day.

Here in Sweden you do not need to be qualified to teach, which means that anyone who has not committed any crime can do it. At least technically.

They were a wild bunch of kids as it was the first day back from their Easter break. I think I managed all right though and after five hours we had managed to do PE, Maths, English and have lunch.

Tomorrow I am off for Stockholm and I will be in Newcastle on Wednesday night. On Wednesday morning I have a job interview for a Christian daily newspaper, Dagen. I have also dropped a letter to the council's tourism agency in Åsele. So now it is up to God to put me where he likes. As long as I earn loads of money ...

Sweden

Today it is one week since I left Tyneside for an Easter break in Sweden. It's great with a break and I am attending a wedding tomorrow. But that doesn't mean that I don't look forward coming back to Newcastle. I really do.

I visited my grands today, they were really glad to see me (although my grandad at first didn't recognise me at first). Dementia is a sad disease. My grandma was well though, should really try to ring her more often.

Tomorrow it is Easter Sunday and historically the most important day for me as a christian. That day Jesus rose and created a way for you and me to get in touch with God. Not bad. Not bad at all.
