Simon goes Czech

This morning started with breakfast from Greggs. After that Hannah and I went for a run, which was really good.

Then I have been at uni doing random CU stuff. We did also some surveys about how students thinks about spirtual things and Christianity. It was good.

On Thursday I am leaving Newcastle, I will get back in August though. During the summer I will work at my council's tourism agency. I am really looking forward to it and I truly believe I will forever change the way tourism is looked at in my hometown haha =). Nah, but I honestly believe I can make a difference. I know a few of the people working there already, and they are all good.

Well, so on Thursday it is Prague for a day and a half. Or actually a half and a day. And on Friday night I will be in Stockholm, the Venice of the north. I am thinking of going to church in Stockholm on Sunday, and then go up north afterwards or on Monday.

Last, but not least, I would like to thank you everybody who have made my year at Northumbria. All the people on my course, the folks in the Christian Union and all staff at uni, where would we be without them?

And where would I be without Eric & Joan? They really helped me to settle in Newcastle, as did their church which is now mine as well.

Sorry to all I have not managed to talk to yet and you I forgot to mention. It's not that I did not appreciate your contribution to my life. It's more a dash of that temporary dementia.

Please catch me in August.

Many thanks

Simon

Manors-Byker

Yesterday when I've had lunch at burger king i took the metro home to Wallsend. This photo shows what a green city good old Newcastle actually is. My last exam of this academic year was the same day. I hope i've passed all. I'm honestly a bit uncertain concerning my statistics module =S. Well on Thursday I'm off to the Czech Republic, and the day after that it's Sweden. This day i've been with the Christian Union in a church praying and socialiszcxing. And it's the FA Cup final today. I think United will win. But as I really like Mourinho ... it's a close call, but I don't think my opinion about Mourinho will change the outcome. Creepy if it did.

Exec day

First of all I want to apologise for my lack of presence here on my blog. I do not have any good explanation, except from that I have been really busy and that my life has been a bit of a rollercoaster. But I am a quite happy bunny now =).

Today is the Saturday when we are going to get together and think about the Christian Union and our purpose. Hopefully we will have some good and useful ideas.

I was up really early this morning, I am actually trying to change my body clock to Exam Time. First exam is on Tuesday, then the two remaining are on Thursday and Friday respectively.

Btw, I have to tell you about my Friday morning. I went for a run to the gym, when I came back to my flat and stepped into the shower there was no water. I decided to go (flow) into town and have a shower at the Highly Blessed City Campus Gym. After a proper shower and a change of clothes at HBCCG me and the day were back on track.
