The best ad this summer

The best ad on TV this summer has to be this one from SJ. The strapline in the end says "A thanks to all of you which (who?) chooses the world's most environmentally friendly way to travel"

American Presidential Election '08

Hope the grammar was good enough in that header. Anyway, I have figured out who would get my vote if I was American. John Edwards is, in my own opinion, the man best suited for the job. His performance was the best in comparison to what I have seen of Obama, Clinton and Edwards.

Terrorists

How can you be so stupid that you think your cause would gain from taking hostages? That is so 70's and still various terrorist groups thinks it is a viable way.

They only dig their own grave by taking hostages and killing them as the western world will regard it more urgent to wipe them out. You would expect a greater sense of self-preservation...

And when it comes to the talibans, I am astounded that they by law enforces a lifestyle on fellow countrymen.

Blessings

Among Christians you often hear the word blessing. But what is a blessing? I believe that sometimes we do only see blessings as something that is positive from our point of view. If it is bad for me then it is not a blessing, even though it might be something that is good for somebody else (and that it might be good for me as well in the long run).

The Art of Work

I have a few fishing water brochures to fold. But I feel that I can not really do it today as I need something to do tomorrow as well.

I am also pleased to tell you all that I have started a new sub-career as pilot. Yesterday I flew between Glasgow and Edinburgh in a jet plane. I messed up the landing gear though, which obviously led to a rather stiff landing (it was fully retracted). Fortunately it all was a computer simulation.

If any is interested I highly recommend a good computer, Flight Simulator X and a 360 controller. A better combo in interactive entertainment is hard to find.

Last, but not least, I will from now on give you blog post on a more regular basis. As I occassionally have nothing better to do anyway...
